YSCA would like to present our next outdoor activity – Two Days Ski Trip – to Romme with All Inclusive! This activity is a collaboration between YSCA and Uppsala’s Swedish-Chinese Student Association. Join us for two fantastic days in the snow. This is a great opportunity to make new friends and learn new skills you thought you never had.

JOIN US TO CELEBRATE AN IMPORTANT SWEDISH TRADITION!

Soon the feast of season Christmas is here! This Sunday we celebrate the first of Advent; the start of the Christmas celebration. On the 13^th of December Lucia is coming to light up the dark days, this is an old tradition in Sweden. Lucia and her “crew” is a choir who sings beautiful Christmas songs and lights up the darkness with candlelight.

We have booked 60 tickets for the biggest Lucia concert in Sweden at the Ericsson Globe Arena “aka Globen” (see youtube clip below). 50 of them are reserved for you and 10 for Swedish students. We will all sit among you, so you will be able to speak to someone Swedish, who is actually coming just to meet you.

The sound quality is really bad, but the people who are there are people from musical schools. Victoria has been to one of the concerts and she assures you that it’s a really magical and beautiful concert.

WHEN: Sunday 13^th of December. The concert begins 18:00 and last for 1 hour and 10 mins.

MEETING TIME: more detailed information about meeting place later.

PRICE: only 120 SEK for you (ISS sponsors you with 100 SEK (normal price 220 SEK))

HOW: Tickets will be sold in Nymble, the student union building (near the ISS office),
please bring exactly 120 SEK with you. Remember, there are only 50 tickets!
